CLODFELTER - Phoenix lawsuit - Putnam

A special from Marion says: A complaint was filed in court today by Thomas C. Day of Indianapolis against Noah J. Clodfelter et al to collect a note given by the latter for $2,000. Clodfelter was at the head of the Phoenix Construction Company, the object of which was the building of the interurban electric railroad between Marion and Anderson and stock in the company was given to secure Day at the time he advanced money to the outfit.
