Cox Reunion
Held Recently
The brothers and sisters of Wm. T. Cox and their families
and his family met together at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Shonkwiler
at his old home place for their first family reunion Sunday Sept. 18. Though it
rained and kept some away, there was a good crowd and everyone enjoyed a
bountiful dinner. Cousins who had not seen each other for years, had fun
getting acquainted all over again.
The Reunion is planned next year for the fourth Sunday of
August at the Robe Ann Park in Greencastle. We hope for a fair day and a larger
crowd next year. Those present this year were, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Owen, Ladoga,
Mrs. Sarah Cox and Granddaugther Shirley, Greencastle, Mrs. Blanche Benassi and
family of Fillmore, Wayne Gearld, Indianapolis, Mrs. Pearl Cox and sons Ralph
and Howard of Brazil, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Maxwell and. daughter Sue of
Cloverdale, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Cox and family of Greencastle, Mrs. Mary Ferris
of Brazil, Mrs. John E. Wells and son Lenard of Greencastle, Mr. and Mrs.
Andrew Lawson and son of Noblesville. Mrs. Eulale Coverdale and family of
Noblesville, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cox and daughters. Doris. Barbara and Bernice
and son Jerry of Greencastle, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sherry of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs.
James F. Cox and daughter Martha Ann, Mrs. and Mrs. Stewart L. Cox and
son Billy and daughter Edna Carroll of Oakland City, Mr. and Mrs. Fred G. Cox
and sons Warren and Ray of Greencastle.
