Four Democratic meetings – the Hon. Matt Murphy spoke to a large and enthusiastic meeting at the Center school house in Clinton Township. His subject was the tariff and after telling of the evils of the present tariff system he took a few shots at Senator Beveridge. Dr. TA Sigler drove to Clinton Township with Mr. Murphy.
