DOBBINS - family reunion - Putnam

The Dobbins family held a reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs.  Dobbins at Greencastle Sunday.  Mr. Dobbins recently purchased the Belknap Hotel at Greencastle and his relatives were urged to be present at an informal home warming.  The guests arrived in Greencastle in time for church service and attended in a body. After the service they repaired to the Belknap where a bounteous dinner was served by the genial host and hostess.  The remainder of the day was enjoyed socially until the guests departed for their respective homes.  Those present were Mr. and Mrs. William Dobbins and son William Henry, Mr., and Mrs. RC Dobbins and son, Emery of this city; Mrs. Benham, Jasonville, Charles Dobbins, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Inman of Indianapolis. - kz
