Greencastle - Masonic Temple cornerstone

The cornerstone of the new Masonic Temple in Greencastle will be laid Wednesday afternoon with all the Masonic ceremonies that go with the laying of a stone for a new Masonic temple. Thomas R. Marshall, former vice-president of the United States
will be the principal speaker, and the Temple association and Greencastle Masons are making elaborate preparations for the ceremony. Assemble South College Avenue, j Many visiting Masons are expected in Greencastle for the afternoon and everything is being done  to handle them in an efficient manner and in a way that they will receive every attention.  Cars have been designated for use of visiting Masons and they will be transported to trains and elsewhere within the city while here.  Among the visiting Commanderies which will participate in the services will be Taper Commandery No 1, Indianapolis; Terre Haute Commandery No 16; Crawfordsville Commandery No 25; Brazil Commandery No 47 and Clinton Commandery No 48. Among the Masonic Lodges of the county and community which will participate will be Fillmore, Cloverdale, Bainbridge, Morton, Russellville, Roachdale and others.  The officers of the Masonic Temple association which has charge of the Temple construction are Charles H. Barnaby, president; William L. Denman, Vice President; EE Caldwell, Secretary; William M. Houck, treasurer; JL Randel, chairman of Finance Committee; CC Gautier, Ralph Howard, Walter R. Hutcheson, Hebert H. Ellis; JF Gillespie; Mrs. Ed Stone; Mrs. William A. Grogan and Mrs. Alonzo Cook.  Persons have been asked to decorate their business houses for the day and thousands of balloons and flags will be used. The following will serve on the committees:
