Greencastle Press - purchased by Arnold - Putnam

Frank A. Arnold, for ten years editor of the Greencastle Star, a Neutral-Democratic-Greenback-Republican-Patent Medicine-Sterotype paper, has purchased the Greencastle Press, the Democratic organ of Putnam County.  Arnold will make a first rate Democratic editor and in case of war, should the Union need to draft a few of Putnam’s citizens, Frank can join his late “war comrades” in Canada and save his worthless scalp as in days of yore!
