Washington township, Putnam county, Sunday School convention was held at Croy Creek Sunday afternoon, June 7th and was conducted by C. E. Hill, president.

The meeting opened by singing hymns, followed by prayer by Rev. Wm. Harvey of Reelsville, who also acted as choir leader. The Reelsville choir sang, "Tell Somebody the Story Today", after which Rev. J. W. Conlin gave a short welcome address. Joe Raab of Croys Creek sang and played, "Never Grow Old", on his guitar and was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Ralph Raab. A vocal duet by Misses Harriet and Hester Blair, piano accompaniment by Miss Helen Blair, all of Big Walnut Baptist church, entitled "When the World Forgets".

Rev. Harrell of Brazil gave the main address of the afternoon which was very interesting.  Choosing for his text these lines from Proverbs: A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and Train up a child in the way he whould go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

At the conclusion the Reelsville choir sang: "The Voice of the Old Village Choir".  Song by congregation "I Would Be Llike Jesus." Benediction by rev. J. W. Conlin of Croy Creek.

Due to ilness Miss Margaret Donald of the Reelsville church, was unable to give the organization talk as scheduled. The next meeting will be held at the Reelsville church, next year June 1st.
