JC Penney - Putnam

The J. C. Penney employees and families enjoyed a pitch-in supper in the basement of the Penney store Tuesday evening. The supper was in honor of the employees who had birthdays this month, Mrs. Laura Perkins, Mr. Dan Rowland, C. M. Moss, Clair Williams and Mrs. Harold Craver. After the supper Mr. Moss presented Miss Joan Collins with a lovely wedding gift from the employees. The evening was spent playing cards and checkers and singing. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Moss and son, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Andrews. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Craver, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Rowland, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Randel, Clair Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Williams, Mrs. Olive Rogers and daughter, Jeanne Miller, Joe Miller, Jessie Johnson and Mary Frances Johnson, Mrs. Laura Perkins and daughter, Mrs. Johnson, Joan Collins, Madonna Smith and Wayne McKeehan
