JOHN Family - 1916 - Putnam

Greencastle, Ind , Nov 25 -- The home and all the contents of Will H. John, six miles west of here, was nearly entirely destroyed by fire last night. The blaze was all over the roof of the house before Mr. John and his family discovered it. The origin was probably from a defective flue. Insurance amount to $500 was carried, but this will amount to less than 1/3 of the loss   --- typed by kbz
