By virtue of a cerified copy of a judgment and decree to me directed from the Clerk of Putnam Common Pleas Court is a cause wherein William H. Coats is Plaintiff and Martin V. Oliver is Defendant, requiring me to make the sum of $1,940.59 together with the accruing interest and costs thereon and I having levied on the following described Real Estate (as per order of said decree in Putnam Co in the State of Indiana towit: Lots No 1, 2, 3 and 14 in Block No 2 in EJ Peck’s enlargement to the town (now city) of Greencastle, I will expose to sale at public auction on – Saturday the 19th day of Dec AD 1868 at the door of the Court House in Greencastle in said Co between the legal hours of said day first the rents and profits of said real estate for a term of not more than 7 years and failing to receive a sum of money sufficient to satisfy said decree I will at the same time and place and in like manner, expose to sale the fee simple interest of the defendant to the same.  Taken as the property of Martin V.
