Russellville news – Sutherlin’s Springs will be opened up by July 1 and Elder Edgeman will preach there on July 3 at 2 p.m. The Epworth League, Christian Endeavor Society and Good Templars will picnic there July 4 and 5 and will hold religious services. Good hotel, fine boating and fishing and ample shade.

James V. Durham visited the celebrated and locally renowned Sutherlin Medicinal Springs near Russellville the first of the week. He reports improved health and also improvements about the springs – swings, boating, etc and a new lodging house. The season is to be formally opened on July 1 and a fine time is expected.

Rev. S.S. Lindsley and wife of Chicago; Rev. Buttman of New York; Rev. Bogard of  Ohio have begun the great protracted meeting at the Springs – all are invited to attend these meetings. Good music and large attendance are ruling. Meals, lodging etc can be had on the grounds at reasonable rates and there is abundance of the medicinal water.
