TINCHER, Ben - odd weighing

Capt. Frakes, stock buyer, had a novel
experience recently. He was purchasing some sheep of Ben Tichner and Ben had an
original way of weighing them. He would
put a sheep on the end of a teeter board and then place stones on the other end
of the board. When the board would balance, he then guessed on the weight of
the stones. Ben says he learned how to make such estimates when he was a boy
and is satisfied with the weights for which he is paid.
