WICKS, Harry - attempts suicide - Putnam

Word was received here this afternoon that Harry Wicks, well known to Greencastle people as a superintendent of construction with Sims & Co on the Big Four Cutoff work done here last summer, attempted to commit suicide at his home in Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon by shooting himself in the temple. No reason is known for his rash act. He is still alive but is not expected to live long. Mr. Wicks and his family left here a little more than a month ago.
