From the Sesquicentennial Edition of the Journal-Herald, August 17, 1968:
A very touching tragedy is recorded on the stones of the Pugh Family.
The mother Barbara died Oct. 10, 1858 aged 31 years and 5 of their children died within the year.
One child name illegible, died Oct 9, 1858 aged 9 years; James died Oct. 10, 1858 aged 8 years; Flavius died Oct. 14, 1858 aged 6 years;
David died Oct. 20 aged 1 year and Samuel died Feb 1, 1859 aged 3 years.
The cause of these deaths would be interesting to know.
Does anyone have this record?
