The Christian church has its centers in different parts of the county that are in a prosperous condition and doing much for the cause of the church.
There is Clear Creek church in Ward township; Carlos, Buena Vista, in West River township; Mt. Zion and Antioch, in Nettle Creek township.

Clear Creek Church Homecoming Next Sunday.
A photo shows the church and the pastor, Mrs. Zelma Mills, in 1908. The
church was built in 1883 and remodeled in 1908.
The second annual homecoming of the Clear Creek Christian church at
Five Points, four miles north of Winchester on state road 27, will be
held next Sunday, September 17.
Mrs. Mary Cunningham will have charge of the Sunday school lesson for
the adult classes, after which Rev. George Culy of Green's Fork, a
former resident of that community will deliver the morning sermon.
Afternoon services will consist of music, readings and a love feast
for all. Dinner will be served at the noon hour. The public is invited.
