            Samuel H. J. Abbott died 8/9/1885 age 75yrs. after a short illness, buried in the White River Cemetery by his Comrades of the G.A.R. He was born at Harpers Ferry, VA in Aug 1810. While a child his mother moved him to Ohio and then to Indiana. He lived many years in Cincinnati, Ohio; was a member of Post 60 ot the G.A.R.; lived in White River Twp., Randolph Co., IN.

Dr. Thomas Adamson, d. 3/25/1885 age 72y 6m 11d. He was for many years a resident of Bloomingsport. Burial at the Cherry Grove Cemetery
