        DOLBY, Levi, an old and respected citizen of Stoney Creek Twp d. 2/28/1884. Born in N.C. in 1807 he came to Ohio and settled for 2y then to R.C. Ind. Mar. Jemima Reed in 1825. Surv. 6 ch. bur. Maxville Cem. Serv. by John A. Moorman.

          Levi Dolby an old and respected citizen of Stoney Creek Township died on the 28th.
          He was born in North Carolina in 1807 and was married in 1825 to Gemima Reed.
          He came to Ohio and settled for two years after which he came to Randolph County whereby his physical power and noble economy and integrety made a good farm.
          He was well respected by all who knew him. He leaves six children and many friends to mourn his loss. Brother Dolby was called to give the parting hand to his companion about six years ago.
          They were attached to the Christian Church and professed to be living in the triumph of the living faith. The remains were interred in the Maxville cemetery.
