MISS SARAH HAWKINS DIES AT LYNN
----------
          The funeral of Miss Sarah Hawkins, aged forty years, who died at the home of her brother, Ollie Hawkins, in Lynn, was held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Spartanburg Methodist church. Rev. Mr. Hallman officiated and interment was made in the cemetery nearby. Two brothers survive.

        HAWKINS, Mercy, d/o Thos & Mary (Addinglon) b. Chester, Wayne Co., IN May 21,1819. Came to R.C. Mar. of 1834, res. South of Maxvlle. She m. LIttleberry DIggs Sept.12,1838, had 1 son, Calvln W. She was a mem. of the White RIver ChrIstian church sInce 1847. Mr. Dlggs died Dec. 24,1849; she moved to Liber Jay Co. in 1855, m. 2nd to Jos. C. Hawkins Jan. 1, 1860, he died Oct. 31, 1885. She d. July 26,1894 ae 75y 2m 5d. Fun. at East St. ChrIstian Church, Winch. IN, bur. Fountaln Pk Cem.
