        HOWELL, Hester A. Mercer, b. Jan. 27, 1839-died Sept. 16, 1894 ae 55y 7m 29d. On Nov. 27, 1856 she m. Robert Howell. He d. in 1885. Surv. are the parents her father belng 82yrs of ae and her mother 77yrs. She had 5 children, 5 sisters and 2 brothers survived. Buried in the Buena Vista Cem.

        HOWELL, Omar, s/o George A. & Lavina (Pickering) d. June 22, 1892 ae 13 or 14yrs; he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a pistol after a head injury from a fall from a wagon. Bur. Little Creek Cem. He was the gr-son of Enos Pickering. Fun. by Rev. J.W. Riley & S.F. Hart.

        HOWELL, Jackson, s/o Robert & -- (Adamson) Howell d. Jan. 18, 1891 of dropsy. On Mar. 2, 1847 he m. Mary Ann Hunt. He was 66 yrs. at time of death. Res. 4 miles north of Modoc, Ind. A dt. Mary E. d. Jan.25,1888 of pneumonia ae 33y. She m. Joshua Medler Sept. 24, 1874.
