          MACY, William Armfield, b.Guilford Co. N.C. Nov. 5, 1809, Died at Spartansburg, Nov. 14,1893 ae 84y 8d. He m. Jemima D. Rogers July 4, 1833, they had 5 children; wf. and children are dec'd. They came to Wayne Co. in 1833. He m. 2nd Jan. 1,18__ Mary F. Morgan wid/o F.G. Morgan. He was a descendent of Thomas Macy of Nantuckett. Surv. are the wid. and 10 gr-ch1ldren. Serv. at lhe Spartansburg Christian Church by Rev. J.W. Bowen and Rev. Perry E. Powell. Bur. in the Arba Cem. He was the son of Obed Macy b. N.C. He died of Erysepalis.

Surv. are the widow and 3 children, 6 ch. are dec'd. 32 gr-children. Serv. at Center with Ira Johnson in charge.
