Verna R. Murphey, 82
----------
Parker City - Verna Ruth Murphey, 82, died Friday in Parker City Health Care Center. Mrs. Murphey, who was born in Evansville, was a homemaker and member of Barker Avenue Primitive Baptist Church, Evansville.
          Survivors include a son, David Murphey; a brother, Clarence Temple, and five grandchildren. Her husband, James H. Murphey, died in 1965. A daughter also is deceased.
          Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Barker Avenue Primitive Baptist Church, Evansville, Private burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Evansville. Calling will be from after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Kriekhaus-Sansom Funeral Home, Evansville is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Indiana Child Wish Fund.

        MURPHY, John,  bro/o Mrs. Martin Harter, d. Apr.18,1888 at his sister Ella Harter's home. He was b. in Collinsville, Butler Co. OH. He was 45yrs of age. They were children of Ellis J. and Mary (Booth) Murphy. Surv. are the wife and 3 children, mother. 2 sis. and 4 half-bros, and 1 half-sis. Bur. at Camden, OH.
