AGED HUNTSVILLE MAN PASSES AWAY
----------
          Joseph Oren, aged seventy-eight, died early Friday morning following a prolonged illness incident to one of his advanced years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, in Union church by Rev. Harvey Thornburg. Interment in nearby cemetery. He is survived by his widow and one daughter.

GRIM REAPER CLAIMS INFANT DAUGHTER -

          The funeral of the two-week-old daughter of Jessie Oren and wife occurred at their home two miles southwest of Farmland Saturday. Burial was made at the Maxville cemetery.

          OREN, Susannah Wright,  b. Clinton Co. OH Feb. 11, 1821-died Feb. 5,1892 ae 70y 11m 24d. Her parents came to R.C. in 1824 when she was 3 yrs. of age. Near Cabin Creek now Unionport. On Jan. 3, 1839 she m. Absalom H. Oren, they had 13 children. She joined the Christian Church Apr. 1843. Serv. by Rev. Thos. Addington; bur. Unionport Cem. (Buena Vista). (Another obit. about the same).

          OREN, Jacob,  b. Clinton Co. OH, Apr. 13, 1813, he d. Dec. 25, 1887 ae 74yrs. On Nov. 24, 1837 he m. Mary Frazier, they had 8 children, 3 died young. Surv. are 3 sons and 2 dts, all at the fun, but Angeline Frazier of Los Angeles, Cal. and Isaiah Oren of Holt, Missouri. His wf. died about 7 yrs ago. He moved to R.C. about 1840. Fun at Cherry Grove in charge of Isaac Johnson, bur. in Cherry Grove Cem.
