          PARSONS, Rebecca, wid/o David? Parsons and the Late Zimri Moffitt, d. last Fri, July 14, 1893 of Dropsy and heart trouble, bur. White River Cem. with Rev. S__son Hinshaw in charge. There is considerable ill feeling about the ptace of burial as her children wanted her buried in the Moffitt family cem., where her 1st husband and some of her children were buried. Mr. Parsons was her legal husband, he wanted her buried in the White River cem. The judge decided that as Mr. Parsons was her legal husband, he had the right to decide where she was to be buried. She had only been married to him about 2 weeks. She was 60yrs of age, b. in Ohio the d/o Lev! and Margarett (Cell-Sell?) Brown. She m. Zimri Moffitt Aug.28,1855, she m. Davld P. Parsons the s/o James and Nancy (Pullen or Mull) June 26,1893 at age 57yrs.

        PARSONS  --  Oct. 24th,  Robert Parsons,  of Ward Township, in the 96th year of his age.
        His wife died a few weeks ago aged 82.
