July 1928
          Minerva Allega, the oldest daughter of John T. and Rebecca Wilson, was born in Green county, Ohio, February 26, 1867, and departed from this life June 18, 1928, aged 61 years, 3 months and 22 days.
          She was united in marriage to William P. Shockney, June 19, 1884. To this union were born two daughters, Maude M. Cox, and Anna R. Lesley.
          She was converted and joined the Harrisville Christian church when she was twenty-one years of age.
          In 1894 she with her family moved to the farm where she lived until her death. On February 12, 1925, her husband met his death and then on April 23, of the same year, one of her granddaughters, Martha Irene, passed away.
          She leaves to mourn her departure two daughters, six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Meda Keys and Mrs. Linnie Coats and a host of other relatives and friends.
