          SLACK, Gearge, b. Bucks Co. Pa. Nov. 7, 1817. He m. Ann Major in 1840 and had 8 children. Emmigrated from Clinton Co. OH to Buena Vista R.C.; d. Nov. 18, 1883 ae 70yrs. Born s/o David b. England and Jane (Worthington) Slack b. N.Y. He was a prominent merchant. He had Typhoid fever.
