----------
Obituary -- Rosanna Troyer  was born in Frederick county, Maryland, August 16, 1829, and departed this life Monday evening, November 21, 1904, aged 84 years, 3 months and 5 days.
When a mere child she moved with her parents to Ohio. At the age of about 22 years she was married to Solomon Troyer, and about seven years later moved to Indiana, and settled in Randolph county, near Farmland. In the year 1860 she moved to the present homestead, where she resided until her death. At the age of about 35 years she joined the Christian church during conference meeting at Farmland.
She was the mother of two children -- Susanna G. and Martin -- both surviving her. She leaves also an only sister, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a large circle of friends to mourn their loss.
The relentless hand of death entered her happy home August 24, 1881, and bore away her companion. Since that time she has experienced the loneliness of widowhood until, in the ripeness of years, she has been call from labor to reward. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 23, in the Hopewell church, conducted by Rev. J. R. Cortner. Interment in Hopewell cemetery.
