Nov. 16, 1892. (Another rec. lists him s/o Joab and Ann (Webb) b.1869. Also a sis. Della Ward (b.1866) m. Wm. C. Starbuck July 13, 1886.

        WARD, Thomas, a prominent banker, d. July 8, 1892 ae 73y 5m 29d s/o Joab and Amy b. Champaign Co. OH Jan. 8,1892. Came with his parents to R.C. in 1819. In 1840 he m. Mary Ellen Tharp. She d. in 1852 and he m. 2nd Mary J. Swain. In 1863 she d. leaving 3 children; Laura, Ella and Edgar J. In 1873 he m. 3rd Susan Lykins who d. leaving 1 child, Thomas L. He m. 4th Laurinda Osborn in 1876, they had 1 son Worth. He is bur. at Fountain Pk. beside his 4 wives (Sarah Ellen?) b. July 1, 1818, 2nd wf. (Obit says Jane Helen) b. July 11,1818?-d. Sept. 3, 1852. Jane Helen b. May 27,1826-d. June 7,1865; LaurInda Osburn b. Oct.1838-d. Mar. 21,1910. Children: Laura B. b. Aug. 20, 1856-d. July 19,1907; Jane He (Helen?) b. Aug. 7, 1868-d. Aug.11,1868, Nancy Jane Tharp b. Sept. 24, 1851-d. ae 29; Susan b. Feb. 7,1873-d. Aug. 24,1873; Worth Osborn b. Aug.19,1880-d. July 5, 1915; Evel M. b. Oct. 7, 1882-d. May 16,1913; Thomas L. b.1869-d. Jan. 31,1926 of Feneral Peritonitis; Susan 1909-1918 d. of Endocarditis; Worth O. committed suicide by shooting himself in the left breast with a 32 cal. revolver age 34yrs.Thomas d. congestion of the stomach.

        WARD, John, b. in Frederick Co. Md. Mar. 2, 1811. With his gr-parents moved to Ind. His father d. on July 29, 1834. He m. Nancy Lingril, they had 8 children. 2 dts and 4 sons surv. His mother is also dec'd. He moved to Tippecanoe Co. Ind in 1835, thence to Clinton Co. OH and in 1862 back to R.C. He d. May 27, 1892, a mem. of the M.E. Church. His wf is also dec'd. He was the s/o Hezekiah and Catherine (Ballard) Ward (b. Md.) Wf. d. Aug. 18, 1887 ae 79y, (b. in Ohio) d. at Farmland of Abdominal Dropsy. She was the d/o Magee and -- (Silver) Lingril.
