        WILMORE Willia (William?) C., b. Amherst Co. Va. Feb. 17, 1801-d. July 25, 1888 ae 87y. In 1822 he came to Ross Co. OH and in 1823 he moved to Gallia Co.OH. On July 21, 1829 he m. Sarah Love and had 9 children, 2 are dec'd. He received his, minister's license in 1829 and came to Wayne Co. lnd. He was a Baptist. Came to Winchester Oct. 11, 1839. In 1848 he moved to a farm on Sugar Creek 3mi. from the city. Fun. conducted by Rev. H.B. Rupe of Richmond and G.H. Elgin of Indianapolis, bur. Fountain Pk. Cem. (Long article).
