Winchester, Ind., April 10, --Sheriff King  brought  Adolphus Yates  of Parker to this city and placed him in jail last evening on a charge of insanity.  A commission of physicians declared him to be of unsound mind and he will be taken to the Easthaven asylum as soon as proper arrangements can be made.  Peculiar actions on the part of the deranged man were first noticed about a month ago, when he began to declare himself the strongest man in the county and to think that "he could whip anybody in town."  He is constantly going through gymnastic exercises with his arms and told the sheriff that he could life his log wagon and carry it around on one shoulder.  His condition is such that it was thought necessary that he be locked up.
