Harriette E. Hall, 91

Harriette E. Hall, 91, of Franklin, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at the Indiana Masonic Home. Born March 8, 1912, in New Salem, she was the daughter of Ozro and Stella (Humes) Bever, both deceased. She married Wayne T. Hall on Nov. 14, 1934; he preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1990. Mrs. Hall lived her entire life in Rush County. She attended New Salem High School, and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rushville. She was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, and the OES Martha Poe Chapter. During the 1950's she worked as an aide at Rush Memorial Hospital, and worked as a cook at Webb School from 1950 to 1958. She was active in the Ladies Circle at the church, a past 4-H leader, and a member of the RMH Auxiliary. Survivors include one son, Daniel W. Hall of New Palestine; two daughters, Lucretia Lucas of Noblesville and Linda (Mrs. Larry) Taylor of Greenwood; two brothers, Todd Bever and Richard Bever, both of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with the Rev. Ruth Starr officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, and will include an Eastern Star service. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Heart Association.
