James Dwight "Dak" Harrison, 53, of Beech Grove, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. Born May 12, 1948, in Connersville, he was the son of Shelby and Lola (Isaacs) Harrison, both deceased. He married Nina McClure on March 24, 1984; she survives. Mr. Harrison was a machinist with Mitchell & Schafer in Indianapolis. He was a member of Cragwood Jehovah's Witness Church in Greenwood. Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Michael Shane Harrison of Liberty; two brothers, William Jeffrey Harrison and Loren Gene Harrison, both of Connersville; and three sisters, Glenda Faye King of Connersville and Roberta and Ramona Harrison, both of Beech Grove. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, with Brother Jim Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Richland Fishers Cemetery in Richland. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
