Jerald Griffin, 56

Jerald Griffin, 56, of Carthage, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.

Born Nov. 13, 1947, in New Castle, he was the son of Charles and Martha (Horn) Griffin, both deceased. He married Marsha Brown on Nov. 14, 1964; she survives.

Mr. Griffin was a truck driver.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Mike Griffin of Carthage; one daughter, Lori (Mrs. Ron) Logan of Carthage; two brothers, James Griffin (and wife Betty) of Carthage and Charles Griffin of New Castle; three sisters, Judy (Mrs. David) Leisure, Tina (Mrs. Maurice) Temples, and Susan (Mrs. Chris) Haywood, all of New Castle; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Todd Funeral Home, Carthage Chapel in Carthage. Visitation was after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
