Paul E. Glover

Paul E. Glover, 72, of Arizona and formerly of Rushville, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005.

Born Sept. 22, 1933, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dutch Glover, both deceased. He married Blanche (Bonnie) McCarty Dec. 19, 1953; she survives.

Mr. Glover was raised in Rushville, as were his four children. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he retired from Nabisco Foods several years ago. After retirement he and his wife became full-time ÒRVers,Ó traveling the United States and eventually settling in Tombstone, Ariz. The two of them participated in daily re-enactments of life in Tombstone in the days of the Old West; Paul was a friendly bartender known as Tumbleweed and Bonnie was a dance hall girl.

Survivors in addition to his wife include four children, Paul E. Glover Jr. (and wife Pat), Tina (Mrs. Jerry) Butcher, Carol (Mrs. Wayne) Farris and Daniel Glover (and wife Laurel); 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family is requesting no flowers. Instead, send your prayers and happy memories their way, and the next good western you watch give Paul a tip of your hat.
