This is the Spencer County Genealogy website, a division of the INGenWeb and USGenWeb Organization. These pages are filled with helpful information, online genealogy data and links to assist you with your ancestral research in Spencer County, Indiana, as well as general research links for other places in Indiana, the United States and the World! May 2014 NEWS - making our list and checking it twice

We are completed the 1000+ stone cemetery in Hatfield, James Parker. . We have worked on the neglected Glendale Cemetery as well, data and pictures are up. Data sheets have been added (Jan 2014) for Ebenezer and Hitchcock Cemeteries I have been lucky enough to have a new volunteer working with us. Wayne Bond has discovered and taken pictures of two lost family cemeteryies. Mattingley and Singleton. Donna Schauss is my other volunteer and she is working on one of the bigger cemeteries in Luce township.

Everyone who is doing Spencer County Research has 'something' they could share with other researchers! Please consider sharing something from your research efforts with us. You are invited and encouraged to contribute information and any pertinent genealogical data to the Spencer County INGenWeb site. I invite you to help make these pages even more useful to researches like yourself and I would be glad to receive your comments and suggestions regarding the information appearing here, as well as suggestions for future data you would like to see added. Records we encourage you to contribute to the website include Old Spencer County related photographs of people or places, cemetery and burial information, biographies, obituaries, bible records, deed records, pension records, probate (estate and will) records.
