Son of Edward S. and Sarah L. King; born May 21, 1895, Jamestown Township, Steuben County, Ind. Farmer. Entered service in Gothenburg, Neb. (Date not known.) Sent to Camp Cody, N. M. for training. Assigned to Company L, 134th Infantry. Contracted pneumonia and died December 24, 1917, in Base Hospital, Camp Cody. Buried in Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County, Ind.
