Rank: Private

Son of George C. and Katherine Nolan Parrish; born April 26, 1894, Angola, Ind. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army, July 11, 1917, Fort Wayne, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; then to Camp Greene, S. C. Assigned to Medical Corps. Overseas in May, 1918; assigned to 28th Ambulance Company, 4th Division. While giving first aid to his bunk mate on the field in the Argonne Forest, he was killed by a bomb dropped from a German airplane, October 15, 1918.
