Sent to Camp Custer, Mich.; assigned to 26th Company, 7th Training Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Battery E, 41st Field Artillery. Died of pneumonia October 9, 1918, Camp Custer, Mich. (Burial place unknown.)
