Son of James and Mary Wilson; born December 18, 1887, Richland Township, Steuben County, Ind. Entered service July 23, 1918, Angola, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to Battery B, 2nd Regiment,  Field Artillery. Stricken with influenza, he was ordered home and died December 23, 1918 from disease contracted while in service. Buried near his home in Richland Township, Steuben County, Ind.
