NONA (BROWN) ALLEN, 17 Jan 1905 - 31 Aug 1987

   Nona Allen, 82 Angola, died Monday in Cameron Memorial Hospital.  
She was born in Steuben County to Hoyt S. and Maggie Shotts Brown.
   Surviving are one brother, Hugh Brown, Huntington, six 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wesley Allen, in 
March of 1987; one brother (error-should be son), James R. Allen, 
in 1960; and two great-grandchildren.
   Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Klink Funeral Home, 
Angola, with the Rev. J. Glenn Radcliffe and the Rev. James Hulbert 
officiating.  Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery.  Memorials 
may be made to the Heart Fund or the North Scott Church.

Allen who died in Mar 1987.  Naomi was the daughter of Hoyt S. 
Brown, 1864 - 1946, and Maggie J. (Shotts) Brown, 1870 - 1952.  
They are buried at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

SON:  James Robert Allen, 19 Jan 1931 - 15 Jan 1960.  "Indiana Sp 3 
Co. 503, Mil. Police Bn."  Cem. Bk. lists mother's name as Naomi.

SIBLINGS:
   Claude E. Brown, TWIN, 23 Jan 1887 - 01 Nov 1917, married Mabel 
(Wilson) Brown.  Claude is buried at Flint Cemetery.  Mabel's 
burial place unknown.
   Cleo H. Brown, TWIN, 23 Jan 1887 - 30 Oct 1956, married Goldie 
Mae (Doudt) Brown, 10 Aug 1886 - 03 Apr 1969, daughter of Elias 
Doudt, 19 Jul 1855 - 07 Mar 1938, and his 1st wife, Laura (Shank) 
Doudt, 18 Oct 1856 - 07 Apr 1891.  Elias' 2nd wife was Jennie E. 
(Montooth) Doudt, 05 Nov 1863 - 22 Sep 1917.  They are all buried 
at Flint Cemetery.
   Harold C. Brown, 17 Jul 1911 -10 Mar 1984, married his 1st wife 
(per Cem. Bk.) L. Martell (Hughes) Allen, 1914 - 13 Nov 1966.  They 
are buried at Flint Cemetery.
