LUKE H. BARR, 10 Sep 1829 - 19 Mar 1899

   DIED at his home in Jackson township, on Sunday, March 19, 1899, 
Luke H. Barr, aged 69 years, 6 months and 9 days.

   Mr. Barr was born in Elyria, Ohio, Sept. 10, 1829, and upon 
arriving at manhood was married to Miss Mary Williams.  To them were 
born five children.  When a young man he united with the Christian 
church, and many bear testimony to his life of helpful influence. He 
leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss.  Funeral services 
were held at Flint, Tuesday morning, March 21, Elder C. S. Medbury 
officiating.

   Luke H. Barr, 10 Sep 1829 - 19 Mar 1899, son of Jared and 
Lucretia (Hazen) Barr, married Mary (Williams) Barr, 1840 - 1902, 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter Williams.  Buried at Flint 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

"Cemeteries of Steuben Co., Ind., 1990" by Audree Siebel Lewis, Vol. 
I, page 95.  This book has Luke born in 1830 and died in 1895.  The 
obituary appears to be accurate.
