SALLY BODLEY, died 02 Mar 1879

   At the residence of her son, J. C. Bodley in Angola, March 2, 
occurred the death of Mrs. Sally Bodley, aged 76 years.  She was 
the mother of thirteen children, twelve of whom are living.  Her 
son, Thomas, who enlisted early in the war of the Rebellion, was 
shot at Chickamauga.  Mrs. Bodley was taken to Plymouth, Ohio, for 
burial.

   Sally/Sarah Bodley married William Bodley who died 02 Mar 1861.

   John Conklin Bodley, 16 Oct 1821 - 25 Aug 1879, on 25 Dec 1844 
in Plymouth, Ohio, married Nancy Ottiline (Conger) Bodley, 20 Nov 
1822 - 19 Apr 1901, daughter of Silas Conger and his 1st wife, 
Hannah (Titus) Conger.  John and Nancy are buried at Block 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Susan M. (Bodley) Emerson, 07 Jan 1823 - 05 Jun 1899, on 07 Mar 
1846 in Indiana, married John Emerson who died in 1893.
   Levi Newton Bodley, 14 Nov 1844 - 19 Jun 1919, on 21 Nov 1855, 
in Indiana, married Mary Jane (Butler) Bodley, 22 Mar 1835 - 14 Dec 
1918, daughter of Jesse and Fanny (Stevens) Butler.  They are all 
buried at Block Cemetery.
   Fleming Wilson Bodley Sr., 14 Nov 1844 - 15 May 1895, on 15 Sep 
1874, in Indiana, married Olive C. (Carkhuff) Bodley, 1851 - 1927, 
daughter of William Carkhuff and Olive Cordelia (Orton) Carkhuff 
Patterson.  Fleming and his wife, Olive C. are buried at Circle 
Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.  William Carkhuff 
is buried at Memorial Grove, Steuben County, Indiana.  Olive 
Cordelia (Orton) Carkhuff Patterson is buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Thomas Bodley died Sep 1863.  Killed in the Civil War at 
Chicamagua,  a member of Co. D., 74th Indiana Infantry.
