JANET (McDEVITT) BOONE, 27 Aug 1937 - 19 Jun 1986 Janet McDevitt Boone, 48, Angola, formerly of Clear Lake, died Thursday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to Bernard A. and Margaret Herrmann McDevitt. Surviving are her father of Pocatello; two daughters, Elizabeth Boone, Fort Wayne, and Bonni Boone, Indianapolis; two sons, Mark Boone and Christopher Boone, both of Angola; six sisters, Mrs. Jim (Joan) Carney, Pocatello; Mrs. Leonard (Patricia) Mallea, Caldwell, Idaho; Mrs. John (Margaret) Dominick, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Harold (Colleen) Moening, Anchorage, Alaska; Mrs. Donald (Sheila) Schmith, Madras, Oregon; and Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Alexander, Austin, Texas; five brothers, Dr. Thomas McDevitt, Herman McDevitt and Bernard A. McDevitt Jr., all of Pocatello; Charles F. McDevitt, Boise; and Daniel B. McDevitt, Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Boone was a former teacher, having taught at Fremont Elementary, Angola Middle and Angola High schools. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where she taught catechism classes. She also attended St. Paul's Chapel, Clear Lake. Services were held Monday at St. Paul's Chapel with Father Wilfrid Logsdon and Father Bernard Zajdel officiating.
