RUSSELL BROWN, 24 Jun 1805 - 09 Sep 1888

   Died at Orland, September 9, 1888, Russell Brown, aged 83 
years, 7 months and 16 days.  Deceased was born in Berkshire 
county, Mass., and in June, 1836, settled in LaGrange county, 
hence was one of the pioneers of this section of country.  In 
1855 he removed to Orland where he resided until death.  His 
four sons, Erastus Brown, of Lincoln, Neb., Ezekiel Brown and 
wife, of Jamestown, Warren Brown and wife, of Springfield, 
and W. M. Brown and wife, of Angola, were all with him during 
his sickness and at the time of his death.  Funeral services 
Tuesday of this week, conducted by Rev. John Paul Jones, and 
he will be buried in Green Lawn cemetery.

Cayuga County, New York, married Laura (Sweet) Brown, 31 Jan 
1805 - 16 Apr 1879.  They are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, 
Orland, Steuben County, Indiana.  Russel is the son of Elijah 
Brown.

   Philena Brown, died at the age of 15 in New York.
   Ezekiel Brown, 28 Jul 1830 - 13 Oct 1909, on 28 Nov 1855 
in LaGrange County, Indiana, married Mary Charlotte (Barry) 
Brown, 25 Dec 1834 - 22 Oct 1896, daughter of John Barry, 09 
Aug 1791 - 30 Oct 1875, and Mary Ann (Darrow) Barry, 14 Sep 
1813 - 21 May 1872.
   Warren Brown, no dates, on 07 Dec 1865, married Falona 
Swain (Baxter), no dates.  Place of burial unknown.
   Erastus E. Brown, no dates, on 03 Dec 1866 in Borodina, 
Onondaga County, New York, married Jennie (Churchill) Brown.
No dates and place of burial unknown.
   William M. Brown, 06 Mar 1846 - 13 Oct 1919, in Nov 1883 
in Branch County, Michigan, married Margaret J. (Hopkins) 
Brown, 25 Apr 1849 - 25 Sep 1930.  They are buried at 
Greenlawn Cemetery.
