Caroline Pugh Buck Obituary MRS. CAROLINE PUGH BUCK DIES IN ANGOLA The death of Mrs. Caroline Pugh Buck, aged 80 years, widow of John M. Buck occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alline Bender, 507 W. Gale street, Angola, on Monday evening, Jan. 9, at 10:15. Mrs. Buck had been ill for the past two weeks. Mrs. Buck, a native of Indiana, was born May 5, 1858. She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Bender, and by a son, Clyde D. Buck, of Lake George, Ind. Another son, L. C. Buck was killed in the Philippines in 1901. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Josephine Hackney, of Seattle Wash., and by several grandchildren. Mrs. Buck had resided in Wells County for the past forty years, and was a member of the M. E. church at Bluffton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, at the Jahn Funeral Home in Bluffton, with Rev. Worthman officiating at the services.
