STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 1903, page 1, column 5 CATHERINE (STIGAMYRE) BUTZ, 25 Dec 1841 - 25 Jul 1903 Catherine Stigamyre, wife of Franklin Butz, born in Seneca county, Ohio, December 25, 1841, died at her home near Angola, July 25, 1903, aged 61 years and 7 months. She leaves a husband, three sons and five daughters to mourn their loss. All her children live here and were all at her bedside and at her funeral service. The funeral was attended by a large company of friends and neighbors and many floral offerings were given. The services were directed by Rev. A. G. Neal, of the Methodist church, assisted by Elder C. Jackson, 1865 - 1950, son of William Henry Jackson and Elmina Jackson. Mary Catharine (Butz) Rice, 18871 - 1947, on 20 Jul 1893, married Fred C. Rice, 1870 - 1951. John Wesley Butz, 1874- 1927, on 13 Dec 1891, married Ada B. (Kuhn) Butz Clinton Johnson, 21 Mar 1881 - 20 Jun 1983, AGED 102. Ada's burial place not known. Her 2nd husband was _____ Clinton and her 3rd husband was Hugh Johnson. Martha Ellen (Butz) Ramsey, 1876 - date of death not known, on 22 Jul 1896, married Andrew John Ramsey, 1872 - 1943, son of Francis Hamilton Ramsey and Arminella (Hazlett) Ramsey who were later divorced. All are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana, except Frank A. Regisser and Mary E. (Clingan) Regisser who are buried at Jones Chapel Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana, and Ada and her 2nd and 3rd husbands.
