ELVIRA (MERRIMAN) CARY, 09 Jan 1840 - 21 Aug 1900

   DIED at her home in Angola, Indiana, August 21, 1900, Elvira 
Cary, wife of Frank Cary, aged 60 years, 7 months and 12 days.

   Funeral services will be held at the home this afternoon, at 3 
o'clock, Elder C. S. Medbury officiating.  Burial at Circle Hill.

   Elvira/Alvira (Merriman) Cary, 09 Jan 1840 - 21 Aug 1900, on 09 Nov 
1858, married Franklin Cary, 29 Aug 1832 - 08 Oct 1921.  They are buried at 
Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.

   Son:  Charles Cary, 22 Aug 1859 - 26 May 1924, married Lucinda Gordon, 
1862 - 1937.  They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery.

Parents:  Rufus Merriman, 23 Jan 1794 - 08 May 1864, married Dolly _____ 
Merriman, 13 Sep 1803 - 10 Jun 1864.  They are buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery, Angola, Steuben Couonty, Indiana.

Children:

   Loren (Lawson in History 1855) Merriman, 17 Sep 1825 - 19 Nov 1857.  He 
is buried at Old Angola Cemetery.

   Roselma (Merriman) Johnston, 23 Mar 1827 - 23 Jun 1909, married Thomas 
L. Johnston, 17 Mar 1820 - 22 Mar 1898.  They are buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery.

   Richard Merriman, no other information.

   Alvin Merriman, no other information.

   Julia M. (Merriman) Wickwire, 07 Apr 1832 - 12 Jan 1856, on 07 Apr 1855 
married James B. Wickwire.  Julia is buried at Old Angola Cemetery.

   Jerome Merriman, 22 Apr 1835 - 22 Feb 1863, on 02 Jan 1860 married Laura 
L. (Wickwire), 1842 - 1901.  Jerome is buried at Old Angola Cemetery.  On 
14 Feb 1869, Laura married Henry Crampton, 1840 - 05 Sep 1905, and is 
buried at pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana, with him.   

   Henry Merriman, 1838 - 10 Mar 1868.  He is buried at Old Angola 
Cemetery.
