NELLIE B. CASWELL
     Nellie B. Caswell, 81, of 268 North Hudson St., died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Community Health Center, following a week's illness.
    Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. from the Putnam funeral home with the Rev. Mark D. Graham in charge.  Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
     Mrs. Caswell was born Sept. 7, 1888, in Fremont, Ind. daughter of Elom and Mary (Lester) Chapin.  She married in Fremont, Ind., on June 26, 1912, and her husband Lyman J. Caswell, preceded her in death on June 6, 1948.
     A member of the First United Methodist church of Coldwater, Mrs. Caswell was a life resident of the area, a member of the Women's Relief Corps and a former employee of the J. B. Branch Co.
     Surviving are one son, Andrew D. Caswell, Roseville; five grandchildren and one brother, Chalmer Chapin, Morovia, Calif.  One son, Arden, preceded her in death in 1968.
