STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1900, pg. 4, col.2 LYDIA (HARRIMAN) CHARD, 13 Sep 1816 - 13 Oct 1900 Lydia Harimon was born in Ohio, September 13, 1816. Died at her home in Otsego township, October 13, 1900, aged 84 years and one month. She was united in marriage with Levi Chard, February 3rd, 1833. Came to Steuben county in 1836. To them were born ten children. She leaves a husband, two sons, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She united with the Christian church at the age of sixteen years and always lived a faithful life. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. G. Neal at the home on Monday. Music was furnished by a quartet from Pleasant Lake. Dgtr: Matilda Chard, 02 Oct 1857 - 20 Aug 1861, buried at Clark Cemetery, Steuben Co., Ind. Son: Charles Chard, married Anna (Dotts) Chard, no further information.
