STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 1900, pg. 8 col. 3 MARGARET (BONTRAGER) CLARK, 10 Mar 1837 - 07 Feb 1900 Margaret Bontrager was born in Tuscarawas county, Ohio, March 10, 1837, died Feb. 7th 1900, aged 62 years, 10 months and 27 days. When in her 15th year she with her parents moved to Indiana and settled in Troy township on a farm. At the age of 28 she was united in marriage to Edward Clark, of Franklin township. To this union was born five children, four of whom remain to mourn their loss. Her husband and one child preceded her to the better world this leaving to her care the four remaining children. She with her husband early in their married life identified themselves with the U. B. church at Old Zion, with which church she retained membership during the remainder of her earthly pilgrimage, living a consistent christian life.
