First clipping:
                  Ashley Lady Dies After Long Illness
  Mrs. Etta Clink, aged 76, wife of George Clink, residing just east of 
Ashley, passed away Thursday morning at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Garrett, where 
she had been taken the previous Sunday.
  Mrs. Clink had been in poor health for the past several months and had been
practically an invalid since fracturing her limb nine years ago.
  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Gouser, pioneer residents of the
vicinity. Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Spencer Ringler, of
Ashley, and a sister, Mrs. H.C. Willis, of Waterloo.  Mrs. Willis is the only
surviving member of direct descent in the Gonser family.
  Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at Ashley conducted by Rev.
H.T. Shady, assisted by Rev. James Elston. Burial was in the Mount Zion
cemetery.

                       CLINK
  ASHLEY, Jan. 16 -- Mrs. Etta Clink, 76, lifelong resident of this 
community, died this morning at Sacred Heart hospital at Garrett. Surviving are her
husband, George Clink; one daughter, Mrs. Spencer Ringler of near Ashley, and
one sister, Mrs. Herbert Willis of Waterloo. Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Swank funeral home here with Rev. Shady and Rev.
Elston officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery.
